The Lake takes baking seriously. Within a short walk you can get cannoli filled to order, a proper ricotta pie, seeded semolina loaves, and pizzelle stacked by the register.

Go Saturday morning and expect a numbered-ticket line. Cash is still king at a couple of counters. Bread sells out well before noon.
